Customization Requirements

File Format: JPEG, PSD, PDF, AI or EPS (either raster or vector files)

Resolution: If the image incorporates any halftone or scanned images, the resolution of each image needs to be at least 300 dpi or greater for any halftone images, and 1200 dpi or greater for any scanned line art.

Color Mode: CMYK or RGB

Reduce Ink Coverage to 250% (print only). Please reduce the ink coverage to 250% by following these steps:

1. Open your file in Photoshop.
2. Under the Edit menu, click on “Convert to Profile…”
3. Select the “Custom CMYK…” profile under Destination Space
4. Set your Total Ink Limit to 249%. Photoshop will convert the colors for you.
   There can be major color shifts in your file. Please double check your colors against the original before you send the file to us.

Editorial Text Searchable in PDFs (digital only).
Ad text should also be searchable, if possible, but we will accept ads supplied as images, but can not generate searchable output from ads set as images.

1. In Acrobat, select the text selection tool and hover over any text on the page.
2. If the flashing text icon does not appear, then the text is an image or vector. This means that the text is not searchable.
3. If the text icon appears, click on a line of text and highlight, then create a bookmark (Ctrl B on the PC; Command B on the MAC).
4. If it is searchable, the text you selected should appear in the Bookmark tab.

Photo: 1.5″ wide x 2″ vertical

Signature:2.5″ wide x 0.75″ vertical

Logo: 2.38″ wide x 1.25″ vertical

Ads:

• Inside Back Cover: 6.875″ wide x 9″ vertical
  Word count for inside back cover: maximum 800 words
  (Inside and Outside sizes are the same for digital)
• Outside Back Cover: 7.25″ wide x 7″ vertical
