Subscribers to The Business Owner are invited to participate in quarterly webinars, that are business owner-only roundtable discussions organized by The Business Owner. Held on the second Wednesday of every month at 11:30 a.m. Central Standard Time, each webinar begins with a 20-minute presentation on a scheduled topic, followed by 30 minutes of on-topic open discussion and Q&A.
It’s an opportunity for business owners to come together to learn and share with one another in a confidential, subscriber-only, business owner-only setting.

Summary: Businesses owners should know what “capital structure” means and why it is important that a business be capitalized properly. This boardroom meeting will review basic business capital structure, the importance of a proper capital structure, and how to change and/or improve a business’ capital structure. Elements of risk and return-on-investment will be included (as it related to capital structure) as well as how a “recapitalization” can include a change in ownership. An open forum question and answer session will follow the short, approximately 20 minutes presentation.
