Grant Thornton, one of the world's leading audit, tax and advisory firms, has been selected to work with the editors of The Business Owner Journal to produce the tax-oriented content that appears on the publication and on The Business Owner website (www.TheBusinessOwner.com). GT’s contributions will begin with the upcoming November-December 2009 issue, which will provide year-end tax planning tips as well as “2009 Tax Information of Interest” -- a comprehensive listing of tax rates, rules, limitations, thresholds, phaseouts, etc.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma office of Grant Thornton, in coordination with the headquarters office in Chicago, will provide the information which will be reviewed and edited by the staff of The Business Owner Journal.  Mr. Brad Stoots is the managing partner of the Grant Thornton office in Tulsa, which is an independent office of Grant Thornton LLP, which is the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd. -- one of the six global audit, tax and advisory organizations.

This new partnership will ensure that the tax advice provided by and through The Business Owner Journal will be second to none.
